This is the PRIME quilt that was presented to professors of a summer program in mathematics. All the blocks in the border use marbled fabrics, and each was chosen because it had a prime number of pieces in the block. It lives in the Mathematics Department at the University of Arizona. |

My halloween quilt, where the candies are pieces of some of our original marbled fabrics. From a pattern in either McCalls or American Patchwork. Love this, although knowing what I know now about machine quilting, I am tempted to take it apart and requilt it......(slaps her hand....). |

A baby quilt for my great grand-niece, Gracie Mae, from Escaping Bugs Bottle Pattern by The Bottle Company. Finished Saturday, July 20, 2002, on what would have been her Great-Great-Great Aunt Viola's birthday. All the fabrics represent something about the family members, from the grandpas who play golf to all the math teachers in the family.
Details below. The snail is part of a jar that is made with fabric from Great grandpa, one of his shirts, made by a company "Grants" that grand-uncle used to work for.

Our "Block of the Month" series from ten years ago. Each quilt has been taken apart and requilted as a result of the Free Motion Challenge by QuiltShopGal.com. All blocks are based on blocks developed by Judy Martin and are from her Block Book.
January-February

March-April - I'm not sure I even have a picture, and it sold.....still looking........
May-June - my Fish Quilt, just requilted and hand-beaded - looks SO much better than stitch-in-the-ditch quilting.
July-August

September-October...being quilted (because I made some serious ironing mistakes, and I have to take part of it apart....) You can read the blog post about the remake here.

November-December...being requilted - and it's looking gorgeous!

Using silk flowers that have been taken apart and marbled - interesting embellishments!
Part of the early "Marblog" series, based on the Log Cabin block - Courthouse Steps. The backing is a large piece of purple marbled cotton.
